WOW!  DooMWare!  That is the predecessor to Hell-on-CD ROM.  I don't even have an image of it until now... I saw it in someones collection before and they told me what it was, but I didn't save the image.

That is one rare gem right there.  Awesome find. :)

I don't collect the really exotic foreign releases like that normally... I have some European releases of some things, but I don't seek them out specifically unless they are dramatically different like Ultimate DooM. (e.g. US vs UK)
The point being that I don't know what Asian countries might have distributors that alter the text like that... China is huge by population, but I notice on game sales sites, they don't represent much in sales compared to Japan. (of US released games I mean)  I would think number of sales and size of distributor would dictate degree of box modifications.  None of my multi-lingual released games have any Asian languages on them.

That is a really unique look to that box though. :)

A Duke3D box with Japanese writings on them, pretty cool. I don't have such a thing but I do have a Japanese Total Meltdown version with full Japanese writings on them.

Really great looking stuff... :)
I seldom get imports, but those are interesting...
I have to figure out a way to make more room... I still have a lot of my collection I can't even get out.  I am designing ceiling/surface mount racks at this time.  Maybe then I can consider adding some of these more obscure big boxed titles. :)
