Silly auctions and advertisements
« on: May 24, 2010, 11:35:07 AM »
From time to time we come across auctions/ads that show that the seller doesn't really know what he/she is selling.  Feel free to post here about such things. I'll start.

I am a Collector/Gamer who plays mostly FPS's, pre-WinXP, on PC and Consoles, but also play other types of classic games on consoles, handhelds, and Plug-n-Play systems. From Pong to GTA series.  I enjoy them all. :)
Also I collect Shovelware/compilations/official add-ons for most PC FPS's. :)

That is like 46,000+ US Dollars...  That is a LOT of money.  Strange.

This is worse than the guy with the $4000 DooM comic book.  (he won't respond to any of my messages about the comic book either, jerk)

What is wrong with these people?  Do they realize how insulting this is to anyone serious?

****edit****
Here is another one by the same seller, almost twice as high!

(I think more than the price is high... like the seller maybe)

think of this as a piccasso painting
Or you can search the internet for a high-res image and order a print online, much cheaper :D.

Oh I asked him about the dimensions, let's see and wait.

Maybe they are like 20 feet tall?  I can see where the shipping might be a bit more for something of that size. <grin>
