Cool... lots of good stuff in there. :)
Towers of Darkness is an excellent box!

I see I am not the only one with SouthPark... the 3D FPS based on a 2D cartoon.  LOL!

Looking back through the images I see you have Towers of Darkness also (just realize I noticed that one in my first post also!)... is that not the most awesome box?

I just had to get get mine out and look at them I like them so much.  That is a truly excellent example of GT Interactive doing something very cool for collectors back then.  I miss GT Interactive. :(
I think about the Kill-A-Ton collection, East Meets West, Duke the Apocalypse 1 and 2... so many of my favorite boxes came from them.  Boxes are dying guys... better get them while you can.  It will happen quicker than we realize I think.
Before long all the worlds collections will be virtual shelves "in the cloud" of whatever Steam type service we buy our games from.  The world is changing.

which I had never completed until recently

I think my towers of darkness doesnt have a manual, I think its just the disc in the paper envelope and a registration card like duke the apocalypse

what is duke the apocalypse 2?

Bargain is right... I have sold those for $150+  $75 is the lease I have ever paid for one also.

HeXen is a big game... that must have taken a while.  Lots to memorize.

If you finished it and liked it, you will defiantly enjoy DeathKings of the Dark Citadale add-on for it.  It was just "more of the same" to me.

Mine were new, so I will check and see what they game with.
**edit** Mine have a white paper envelope with a single disk on a paper sleeve and a 8-1/2x5-1/2 (21cm x 14cm) 7 page paper booklet with cover art matching the box front, and a Warrenty/registration card.

It was another Add-on compilation for Duke Nukem 3D, just like Duke the Apocalypse 1.  I think it was only released in Europe though... there are at least two box varients.  It included a Duke Xtreme t-shirt, Duke!Zone, Duke it out in D.C., and Unlock the Secrets for Atomic Edition.
It was of interest to me because of the very odd box color... Blue.  Duke Caribbean was appropriately a Blue base, but this one is odd for sure.
Here is an image of the version I have...

i have uploaded some new pictures here
http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/shelf/new/

It took about 16 hours or so I think...

Invisible bridge? The only invisible bridge that springs to mind is one that appears on the second hub leading to the castle/keep thing... Oh and maybe one right at the very end before the final portal

I started a game of the deathkings but choose the fighter race and didnt enjoy the close combat as much. I was a cleric on my hexen playthrough. So I abandoned it and started hexen 2.
which I love but I was just stuck for about SIX HOURS on this one puzzle on the Egypt level where you have to cross a bridge with squares I tried all sorts but some how managed to solve it
but i have no idea what i did  ::)   but that frustrated me so I am taking a break

I have Duke the Apocalypse 1. I want to get 2 for duke it out in dc as I havent got that. I just had a quick look on ebay and could only find the one i already had, so is the second one uber rare?

Yeah... the long one leading away from the back of the hub is the one I remember.  Excellent use of tech in my opinion. :)

I have seen Duke the Apocalypse 2 on eBay only two or three times ever.
If you are in Europe you can find them over there easier I suppose.  Iggy found some a while back... there are pictures on the site from a few members that have it.  I still want the smaller boxed version also.  I consider this to be the Crown Jewel of my collection... for me.  I have games more fun to play, more interesting game boxes, and games more valuable, but for me, obtaining Duke the Apocalypse 2 was such a long hunt and such an important boxed set in my collection, I value it the highest.  Rare and unique to me. :)

Hi guys, Back again :)

Someone at work gave me there sons game collection as he no longer wants it as he has grown out of them.

A bit of a strange collection, a few duplicates and maybe a rare item?

Anyway, on to the collection

Norm Kogers operational art of war  & Vangers one for the road
http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/newgames/DSCF5432.JPG

No idea about these two, never heard or played either of them.

Civilatization call to power & star wars supremacy
http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/newgames/DSCF5433.JPG

Z & Ultima vii
http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/newgames/DSCF5434.JPG

Ultimate  strategy collection
http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/newgames/DSCF5435.JPG

Some classic games there, I love jagged alliance dg, got it boxed and free from gog.com lol

blue shift and dune 2 reissue
http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/newgames/DSCF5436.JPG

cnc + covert ops. I already have this in my worldwide warfare package
http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/newgames/DSCF5440.JPG

roller coaster tycoon 3 expansion, starfleet command 3, halo  (halo is open as its missing its cover)
http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/newgames/DSCF5441.JPG

sealed red alert + serial mouse
http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/newgames/DSCF5442.JPG

no idea if this is rare or worth anything? I already have the game in my worldwide warfare package

and some loose discs

http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/newgames/DSCF5443.JPG

MDK is a dupe. I am REALLY REALLY annoyed the quake mission packs dont come in the box :( I still dont have them boxed!

So yeah, not a bad collection and in quite nice condition. What I find strange though is he had quake mission packs but no quake, opposing force but no half life and rollercoster tycoon 3 soaked but no rollercoaster tycoon lol So lots of expansions but no original game!

Any of this lot pulling anything on ebay? I am not going to sell any of it but its nice to know whats worth what.

A Red Alert 2 mouse? Groovy, never saw it before. Aftershock for Quake is definately a rare one. Overall a good catch.

I've seen that game before, is it any good?

I see you got the Duke Nukem comic as well, I should get some of it one day myself.

And a comic about Rage? How good is that one?
