If you aren't familiar with the Tapwave Zodiac it is a touch screen PDA from 2002 or so that runs a Palm based OS. I has about Pentium Class processing with an excellent ATI Graphics system. As a PDA, it is pretty powerful and even had bluetooth support. It was intended to double as a gaming system and has four directional buttons, a joy-pad and shoulder buttons.

In my opinion the graphic system outweighs the processing capability. Duke Nukem Mobile is a First Person Duke game with great graphics, but shallow or constrained programming. Because it is Palm based it has ports of a LOT of popular games that run on it. I have ports of Duke Nukem 3D, DooM, Heretic, HeXen, and Quake. Because of the ATI graphics system, if the processor can run the game, the video can handle it pretty well. It runs Quake ok at 320x240, which sounds low by todays standards, but for a 4" screen it looks fine.

It runs Duke Nukem 3D at 480x320 quite well.

Anyway, I like it as a gaming system.

This is one box I have mixed reaction to... if you look at the Zoom release of Duke Nukem, it "fits" the game I think. The quality and "silly" game play I mean. While Blake Stone was a silly themed game, it was technologically WAY beyond Duke Nukem 1, 2 and even Wolfenstein 3D... so I always felt this box did not represent the game well. But that is just me.

If you look at the Zoom box for Wolfenstein, maybe this makes more sense, as I felt the increase in complexity did fit the game better.

This is the "sister card" to the Duke Nukem PS1/N64 memory cards by InterAct. I keep all of my PS1 Tomb Raider games on one of these.

Might be worth it if you're looking for a couple of items for a cheap price, but it misses too much stuff for the real collector, I'm afraid:

Oh COOL! That really is a good one actually.

I am not very much into Deatmatch really, but I do collect and try most any ShovelWare level, so I bought this one a few years after it came out.
It is not uncommon used, but finding a new one, and with a disk, for less than $5 is becoming a challenge.

It is worth $5 to anyone who collects ShovelWare or wants an excellent book on how to Old-School Deathmatch.
