Mr.BlackCat's Game Collection! :)
« on: May 23, 2010, 01:00:26 AM »
Ok... my games are boxed up right now, but I have them in my new house with me finally. (after over 2 years)  The computer/game room is NOT finished yet and won't be for many months.
Maybe I will post links to the progress on my computer room in here.  Have not thought that one out.  We will see.

So until I get those images up, I will just put images I take of the pieces of my collection in here.  :)

Here we go...

I got this today!  Not a big deal to many maybe, but here it is.
DooM for the Atari Jaguar.  Complete. :)

Duke Nukem Boxed.  Yeah, I know if Joe was here he point out how Duke Nukem was never boxed... by Apogee.  I think these little boxes are so cute!  I have a couple of them, but the price was fine with me.  I have the Blake Stone version of this little box too. :)

Just got this one today!  Carnivores!  I have had this one on my wanted list for a long time, but never could find the original one boxed... well if all goes right with the mail, this one looks great!

Demon Gate 666-600
Here is something that I had forgotten until I was looking through my games Spreadsheet...

BOXED Demon Gate comes in at least two versions for the PC.  There is a 600(+) and 666 for the PC and then a 600(+) for the Mac...

Here they are...

One more thing I forgot to note with the Demon Gate boxes...
On the Demon Gate 600, the little CD image on the front lower right which reads "Custom DooM Interface Included" is printed on the box surface.
On the Demon Gate 666 it is a laser decal... and it is on the box surface, not on the shrink-wrap.

Hey, I didn't know Carnivores was ever boxed! I only seen JC on eBay.

Those were simple little addictive games.

I will tell you this... I have seen bid wars for the Carnivores original box go over $50 more than once.
The original Carnivores was not made in near the volume as Carnivores 2 and CityScape... collectors snapped up most of the boxed version years ago.  I asked a friend of mine at WizardWorks years ago how many were made and it wasn't many compared to a lot of other WizardWorks releases... but it was the first one... and Carnivores sold more after the release of Carnivores 2 than before.
The Point... Boxed Carnivores is rare, and in good condition is really hard to find.  I was very lucky.
The seller is shipping it Priority in a Box for me though.  Really nice guy.

I finally got StrategyMaster for Quake II!  Boxed and complete... The box is about a 7 and the contents seem to be new.  :)

Quake Boxed Stuff
I got my first Quake Resurrection Pack today... was a Euro one from Finland.  Is about a 6 because of lots of wrinkles and two small tears, but I am happy with it. :)  It will display nicely from the front with very little effort. :)

I started looking and seeing what I had and decided to set up all my boxed PC Quake games and upload the images.
I didn't include duplicates with the exception of Quake I and Quake 4 t-shirts.  I don't really have a lot of duplicates of Quake stuff except REALLY common things like DeathMatch Maker... I had three of them sealed I didn't even realize!  And I don't even own Quake 4 actually.  I don't own anything that would even run Quake 4, so that will be later in my life I play that one. :)
Anyway... I didn't include the action figures except the two sealed exclusives that were in the box with all this other Quake stuff, posters, and a number of CD's of add ons and such that never were boxed.

But here they are...

Looks like one image is all it will allow in this message today.  I will try another post after this one...

Interesting... It absolutely will not allow me to post two or more images in the same post.

Ok... that is all for now.  :)

If later I can post more to one message, I will condense all of these as much as possible.
