Right, problem time. Today I was going to install my new hardware. Everything went well until I learned the hard way that the Noctua NH-C14 cooler in combination with the Corsair Vengeance RAM can not be installed on the same motherboard. The Noctua cooler requires quite some space and the coolers of the RAM are too high.

I have not seen him... I have never noticed him at any of the other forums I frequent.  Maybe he isn't a forum type person.

I am a Collector/Gamer who plays mostly FPS's, pre-WinXP, on PC and Consoles, but also play other types of classic games on consoles, handhelds, and Plug-n-Play systems. From Pong to GTA series.  I enjoy them all. :)
Also I collect Shovelware/compilations/official add-ons for most PC FPS's. :)

He is, he posted quite a bit around here but turned M.I.A. for a while, then popped up for a few moments only to disappear again.

Found a way of calling from Germany to the Netherlands for really low prices. From 23 euro cent per minute to about 8 without having to cancel your current telephone service or signing up elsewhere. Not that's important for me but my mother, well, is rather fond of using the phone a lot. Women.

Interesting... I don't even have a home phone anymore.  Cellular coverage is excellent and far less expensive here.  There aren't that many cell companies around, so almost everyone I know has the same one I use, and it is free to call anyone who is on the same service.

I wonder what it costs to text message outside your country... Hmm...

Anyone know?

Last time I've seen Willis online is when sent me a mail that all remaining games were sent to me and didn't hear from him again. Maybe he is just extremely busy in RL.

That could be... I have not been working for a while now as my job ended early... or is on hold actually.  I don't know when it will continue, but when it does, I am back to 7 days again.  Is just what it takes sometimes... and that is why I am chosen to do it, because I will. <sigh>  I am lucky enough to have a tolerant girlfriend too.

Anyway, maybe he is working crazy time like that too... or maybe he got stuck on a project like I do sometimes and I work only on that one thing like a mad man until I get to a desired point... like if I am awake, I am working on it. NeUrOtIc... but is me, and I am ok with it. ;)

Not sure, i will prob be away a little myself, as you may or not know the area im living in isnt doin the best with floods atm. Yesterday my computer took a hit and is down for the count, i am posting this from my phone. The missus got stuck at work until late lastnight when they were able to get her out and me and our daughter were stuck on the highway for about 5 hours when a bridge went under. We havent got it as bad as many others and i feel for those who have lost much more than we have, seeing people sitting on the roof, cars floating away, hearing stories of those who have lost loved ones, Our house isnt as close to the river and is on higher ground so we should miss the worst of it. Any way i will try hang around, just for the next few days i will prob b a bit busy, then have to organise a new comp. Stay safe everyone

Sorry I haven't been around either much guys.. I just graduated college, got a double bachelors in Sociology and Criminology, but at the same time also lost my job.. I worked in the IT department at my University for 4years as a student/worker employee, but since I graduated, I lost my position (it happens to every student worker when they graduate), and unfortunately the job market out here in California is absolute GARBAGE at the moment, so I am stuck in limbo. I should have my ebay store up soon at least though.. I have around 1000 games in my garage, with a few hundred of them being big box titles. Of course, that's not counting my 'personal' collection which is not for sale :) heh

Big fat congratulations MasternX!  8)

Also, I've never seen the forums load so fast! I hope the platform upgrade solved the performance issue. The forums were still down after the upgrade, but around yesterday morning they started to load faster and faster. Let's hope it stays that way. *crosses fingers*

And good luck to you Spikey!

There we go, I had an ISTQB course last year and the exam I took was last month, I got the results through e-mail just now. I passed, out of the 40 multiple choice question I had 34 right. Excellent.

Funny how I was asked to bring my ID (passport, driving licence, that sort of thing) yet no one asked me to show it. Just as the other candidates.
