Greetings members, here are the basic forum rules as well as your user rights.
Basic forum rules;- No flaming, trolling or other forms of personal attacks/harassments. Keep it decent.
- Attempts to compromise the security of this forum in any way is of course not allowed.
- No violating any copyright, trademarks, patent or any of that kind.
- Posting offensive/vulgar material/messages is not allowed.
- Do not abuse the available posting format tools and/or smilies.
- The only language allowed is English. Any message in another language other then English will be deleted.
Topics;- You can create a new topic anywhere except for the "News and Update" section.
Posts;- You can post in any public topic.
- The time limit on editing your posts is 10 days (14400 minutes).
- When posting images in posts, please use clickable thumbnails as much as possible. Imagehosts such as
Imageshack.us,
Imagebanana or
Photobucket.com are good services for this.
- Posting in an old topic is allowed for as long as you have a good reason for it (the so called "necro posting").
Polls;- You can add a poll to a topic you created at any time.
- You can edit and lock any poll you created.
Avatars;- Avatars can be uploaded to the server or a remotely stored avatar can be selected.
- Maximum size of avatars is 100 x 100 pixels.
- There is no technical limitation on the filesize of avatars, however, please keep them as small as possible.
Signatures;- Maximum 300 characters and/or 5 lines of text.
- No images allowed.
- Allowed BBC in signatures is B, Color, Font, I, Quote, eBay, U, Center, S, URL.
Attachments;- You can have up to 6 attachments to each post.
- Maximum filesize for each attachment is 512Kb.
- Allowed extensions are doc, gif, jpg, mpg, pdf, png, txt and zip.
Personal Messages;- You can have up to 250 PMs.
Final notes;- Some members (myself included) do not have the luxury of a very fast internet connection. Please keep this in mind when posting large images.
Edit (13-jan-11);Old post with the forum rules was deleted thanks to some server fuck-up. I restored it as much as I could. It shouldn't contain anything new.
Edit (02-feb-11);- Time limit on editing of posts has been increased from 3 to 10 days.
