Here is my idea realized. Presentation stand to mobile phone or camera with a description. so what do you think?  :D
btw. On first picture is the Czech release and the second is re-release DN3D. It's very difficult to find. Few of the pc players keep the game box. But it is a worldwide problem...

Looks Classy..Lets see  i guess you would not want them below the chair rail Apx 30 inches high or over 6 or 7 feet high cause you would need a ladder to look at them..You will need a huge room to display a lot of games.. Games facing the front are a nightmare to find room to display but that's a nice set up. Looks great!

Thanks Rog, of course you're right, really I do not have much room. These chairs should be only for something exceptional titles.  ;)

Awesome idea, starting to look like a game museum which is nice. Maybe you can even add some game info on those card like developer and publisher and release date (version number too perhaps?)

Looks cool, but I only would select the really special items for that as it's very space consuming. I have some of my boxes showcased like that on top of the closets in which I keep my games.

Recently came unopened Nuke it. I thought that exist is only one (not counting Nuke it 1000) but there are some small differences. as a special edition of Blood or Shadow Warrior. Nuke it with asterisk and without  - cut and uncut. Check it out. maybe this is nothing new, but it surprised me.
Hey macwiczech...
I was just re-reading your thread and realized that your Euro Nuke It Box (right) could be version 1.0... is this one open where you can check the disk?  1.0 is quite rare as they got in trouble for giving away Duke Nukem images (and some other legal complications) from 3D Realms.

Curious... mine is not opened, so I can't check the disk.  I might open it just to verify mine is 1.0.

Not necessarily printed on the disk... I have two copies with no indication of version on the disk that are both 2.01.  One of these I opened myself, the other was bought already open.  So I can pretty much rule out a possible disk swap.
You can tell by opening the Readme File on the disks root directory.
I was told that the 1.0 version didn't contain an editor also, and that is how you can tell it was 1.0.  The levels are the same, but they added content to the disk.

Also, these disks are in cases with two different booklets.  One booklet has "Free Inside" red circle and the other booklet has the "*These levels were independently created by 3rd parties..."
One Booklet is 6-96 the other is 10-96.

Hey macwiczech...
Can you check and see if there is a .txt file on the disk?  If so, open it and see if it gives the version... Both of my disks are 2.0, so I am not sure if a 1.0 disk would contain this file.

MrBlackCat
So unfortunately, in the text file is this:
"Nuke It"
Version 2.0
06/25/96
New release.

Thanks for checking that... so while there IS a sure way to know it is 2.0 from the outside, there is no sure way to know it is 1.0 from the outside. ;)
That is what mine are also... :)

I realize that i am late in joining this conversation, however interesting read, I took a look at my Nuke it box just for kicks, my box is different than the ones pictured here, (i have the euro lift of lid version) on the front it mentions the Free inside, however when i check the disk it states version 2.0. :(
