Even though the current cover art has got a lot of negative reactions it seems that 2K will be sticking to it. Bugger, I've seen great alternatives posted on the Gearbox forums.

I'm not saying that anything will change because I do not believe it will change - I never say "never" but that cover is what we intend as the final, as agreed upon by Gearbox and 2K Games - as I've said before, if we went back to the drawing board every time a group of fans wanted something to change, nothing would ever get done, and games out never come out. This isn't meant as disrespect, but it's a reality of how things work.

I don't want to continue rehashing these same arguments that we've gone over last week - please, let's stop going in circles. If you have something new to add to the thread, please do, but otherwise let's keep past arguments in the past. Repeating the same posts doesn't help anyone.

Thanks.

So 2k managed to fuck up the cover. I wonder what else they'll ruin. But don't worry, I think I know what 2k's after. You're suppose to take the DVD out of its case then catapult the case along with the most un-Duke cover ever to be seen by mankind in the deepest, dampest, stinkiest, darkest and scariest corner of your attic or basement (or whatever other foul place befits you) where it can rot away until the next ice age. It's called the "2K challenge" and anyone who wins it gets a free DNF game with a REAL cover along with a free token for the DLC "Bling, Bling, I'm da King!" (featuring 72 grannies armed to the teeth and MrBlackCat).

Uhm, right. :o

On a more serious tone, NECA will be making Duke figures;

Damn, awesome rapport by Yatta, one of the very lucky DNF fans of this planet. This sounds exactly like the DNF I want. May can't come soon enough.

BTW, I grabbed a handful of duke burger napkins, duke nukem forever coasters, and duke nukem forever stir-sticks.. thought maybe I could use some of them for possible barter? ;) If anyone is interested, lemme know! P.S. That DNF press-party was easily one of the most exciting moments of my life. I feel like I'm 12yrs old, all over again.

Hmmm, trading has already begun I see. :P

I wonder if some of those items will show up on eBay. For enormous prices no doubt.
